Fish Face Friday for June 26, 2026. Daniel Lavoie 📸. Joel Taillefer angler. This brown trout was sitting in an eddy rising to brown drake duns. He ate my foam pattern after it sat in the eddy swirling for a long 10 seconds, but broke off on the hookset!

We found him rising in the same spot 2 hours later, and after a few fly changes, he ate again, and to my surprise, the first fly was still in the corner of his mouth!
