So earlier today I made a post in a local community group requesting a parent to reach out privately if they have a young entrepreneur that was wanting to get into summer mowing earning cash but was struggling to come up with the funds to get started. Well in a matter of minutes a lady reached out her 12 year old shoveled snow all winter for the seniors in his neighborhood and had started getting into mowing but his mower gave up the ghost on him and he was having issues with a plug in grass trimmer so after some brief chatting with the mom after his ball game tomorrow late afternoon she's bringing him here to receive his new to him mower at no charge and also I am going to take a look at his trimmer and see if it's a simple issue along with giving him tips for caring for his equipment. Why am I doing this you ask? I am doing this because my community and beyond has been amazing in supporting my little part-time gig so this is my way to give back/ pay it forward to a community that has been amazing to me.

Some Redneck treads added to the ol Toro.

If you recall the vintage toro I got going not long ago well this customer has 2 machines a craftsman I just got going and this Beast and after giving him a quote he has decided to have my redneck ingenuity applied and give is racing slick drive tires a new lease on life the next post will contain side x side comparison of before and after.

Picked up this machine yesterday for full service and diagnosis as they was informed by a neighbor it was burning oil like crazy and something about the hydraulics when reversing 🤔 yesterday i did a full wash down and degrease of it the next couple rainy days I'll be in the bunker working on mowers and the young girl's electric scooter. When the sun returns I'll tackle the tractor.
