Gladiators Martial Arts Academy

The Martinez Family- Mr. and Mrs. Martinez, together with their family have always had Taekwon-do running through their Veins. Originally from Paraguay, in 2008 they came to Canada as a family to pass on the passion for Taekwon-do.

Mr. Martinez (6th Degree Black Belt) Began Taekwon-do at the age on 17 in Paraguay and has been instructing for over 30 years. He has brought countless teams to World competitions. In 2019, he was presented with the Outstanding Instructor Award at the World Championship in Melbourne, Australia.

Mrs. Martinez (5th Degree Black Belt) is a Professional Ultra Marathon runner and has been instructing Taekwon-do for over 20 years. She has gained an incredible amount of wisdom and experience in sports nutrition and fitness.

Gladiators Martial Arts Academy is a Taekwon-do based school that caters to all levels of fitness, competition and age. We delight in working with our students and understand that every student comes from a different walk of life. We love to see our students push themselves and always challenge them mentally and physically.
