This past Sunday, members of the Grande Prairie Gymnastics community came together for the Terry Fox Run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It was a beautiful morning spent getting active, connecting with one another, and supporting a cause that continues to bring communities together across Canada.

We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up, supports one another, and believes in making a difference — both inside and outside the gym. 💙

💙🤸 Coaches teach so much more than gymnastics.

During National Coaches Week, we're celebrating the incredible people behind the skills, routines, competitions, and milestones—but also the lessons that go far beyond the gym.

Our coaches teach athletes to believe in themselves, keep going when things get difficult, learn from mistakes, and support the people around them. They create an environment where athletes can challenge themselves, celebrate progress, and discover what they're capable of.

From their first forward roll to their biggest accomplishments, our coaches are there every step of the way. 💙

💙🤸 National Coaches Week is all about recognizing the dedication, impact, and passion that coaches bring to the athletes and communities they serve.

We kicked off the week with a staff Open Gym, giving our coaches a chance to get in the gym, have some fun together, and celebrate the incredible team we have at GP Gymnastics! We also handed out some well-deserved specialty awards and kicked off our daily prize draws. 🎉

The hold and secure has been lifted.

The hold and secure at Eastlink Centre and Design Works Centre has been lifted at the discretion of the RCMP.

Eastlink Centre and Design Works Centre have been placed under a hold and secure at the recommendation of the RCMP due to an emergency situation in the area.

The facilities remain operational, but members of the public are not able to enter while the hold and secure is in place.

The City is following the instruction of the RCMP and will provide an update once the hold and secure has been lifted.

Residents are asked to avoid the area at this time.
