Sail Nova Scotia is excited to host our first annual Coastal Night Race supported by our great friends at Boxing Rock Brewing Company.
In advance of SailGPs return to Halifax we've put together a new race to take place the evening of Friday, June 12, the night before our annual Boxing Rock Cup Harbour Race.

The Integrated Support Team (IST) from the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic was out in full swing to support the Nova Scotia Sailing Team ILCA and 470 athletes this past Tuesday. (Simon, Melissa and Erin). Their year round support is so beneficial and appreciated!

Sail Nova Scotia is very appreciative of the funding received from Support4Sport, Sport Nova Scotia, & Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic which enabled the purchase of Vakaros units for our provincial sailing team. These units are high-performance digital sailing instruments designed to provide precise data to racing sailors.

Congratulations to these great sailors who are to be inducted into the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame! Looking forward to celebrating in Halifax this October.

The Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame and Sail Canada are pleased to announce the 12 individuals who will be inducted into the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame’s class of 2026. The induction ceremony will take place Sunday, October 4, 2026 at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax, NS, from 1pm to 4pm. Tickets will later be available for $35 per person through the Sail Canada website.

Les intronisés au Temple de la renommée de la voile canadienne 2026 sont annoncés
Le Temple de la renommée de la voile canadienne et Voile Canada sont heureux d’annoncer les 12 individus qui seront intronisés au Temple de la renommée de la voile canadienne en 2026. La cérémonie d’intronisation aura lieu le dimanche 4 octobre 2026 au Maritime Museum of the Atlantic à Halifax, en Nouvelle-Écosse, de 13 h à 16 h. Les billets seront disponibles au coût de 35 $ par personne par le biais du site Internet de Voile Canada.
