🥌 The Halifax Curling Club is thrilled to partner with NS Curling and Mayflower Curling Club for the next four years to host the Men's & Women's Provincial Championships and the U-20 Men's & Women's Championships.

It’s an honour to help host these events and continue building the curling community here in Nova Scotia. We can’t wait to welcome athletes, fans, and volunteers to the club and celebrate the sport we love.

NS Curling welcomes Mandy Mulford as the new Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Curling Association, meaning that we at the Halifax Curling Club are announcing that Mandy, our HCC General Manager, will be departing her role in the coming weeks.

During her time with the Halifax Curling Club, Mandy has been a driving force behind operational improvements, member engagement, and the continued growth of curling within our community. Her leadership, dedication, and passion for the sport have left a meaningful impact on our club and its members.

The Board of Directors is thrilled for her as she embarks on this next exciting chapter and is confident she will bring the same energy, vision, and commitment to her new provincial role. While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly proud to see her step into a position that will shape and support curling across Nova Scotia.

We extend our heartfelt thanks for her contributions to the Halifax Curling Club and wish her every success. ❤️

The Nova Scotia Curling Association is excited to announce the appointment of Mandy Mulford as our new Executive Director, effective August 3, 2026.

Mandy brings more than 10 years of leadership experience as General Manager of the Halifax Curling Club, along with a strong background in operations, project management, and a passion for growing the sport of curling.

😮 Can you believe our last day of curling was already almost 2 months ago! We miss seeing you all every week!

What a way to end another fantastic season here at HCC! 🎉
🧊 Icemaker’s Revenge - the spiel where the ice is not your friend- you never know what Adam has up his sleeve! We had buttons in new places, ice built up and keeping you guessing, rocks that would fall for days, and HCC's very first fish pond right in the middle of a sheet! 🐟

🥌 We were so happy that so many of our members came out to curl and celebrate! For those of you who made it to the end with us, I think it's time we call up the Guinness Book of World Records and get our plaque for "Most Simultaneous Snow Angels on Curling Ice" 🤣 ❄

🏆 Congrats to Team Breen for winning the only trophy at the club that was hand-built by our icemaker! 🤣

🌺 Huge congrats to David Wilson for winning HCC's first ever Spirit Award!
