Next Monday (June 1) is our first night of pick up and also our celebration of the Art Hawkins Great Canadian Ultimate Game!

What is this? Leagues across the country come together for one week every year to play Ultimate in the name of the Art Hawkins fund. The Art Hawkins Fund has a mission to support the growth, development, and inclusivity of Ultimate in Canada. Funds raised will support Juniors programs, outreach, and more!

When: Monday, June 1st, 6:15 pm
Where: Gorsebrook Field
Who: Players of all experience levels!
Cost: Regular pickup price ($6); can purchase on the HU website in advance or pay in cash at the fields.
What to bring: Water, cleats (if you have them), and white/dark jerseys.

Since this is a Canada wide event 🇨🇦 , teams are usually in white or red (but dark is also fine if you don’t have a red). Bring both, as teams will be assigned on the spot!

Playing in My Shoes (PIMS) is an initiative presented by Innova Canada on the first day of Canadian Accessibility Week. This free Inclusive and Accessible Disc Golf Clinic is for all abilities, ages, and income levels, everyone is welcome to attend and try the 5 throws. If you are new to disc golf, an ambassador will teach you a few basic throws to get you started.
