IT’S OUR FIRST EVENT OF THE YEAR!! 🛒♻️
Join us as By the Pound Thrift returns SUNDAY MARCH 29th at the Halifax Forum!
Here’s what you need to know:
🛍️ We are back at the Maritime Hall at the Halifax Forum (next to the Farmer’s Market & Bingo Hall, enter from Almon Street) with a large parking lot!
🛍️ The first 15 people in line will score free entry and 15% off their purchase with us
🛍️ Entry is $2 for this event- kids 12 and under are free!
🛍️ We accept both cash & cards for payment
🛍️ Our space is accessible for wheelchairs & strollers
🛍️ Come prepared to dig! With no price tags and clothing being put out in broad categories, part of the adventure will involve some digging! Clothing will be on tables to sort through
🛍️ We will be restocking throughout the day
🛍️ There are no change rooms. The room will have a few mirrors, so if you’d like to try things on, wear an outfit that will allow you to try your items on over it!
🛍️ Clothing for all ages/sizes/identities (unfortunately we cannot guarantee how much clothing will be in each category)
🛍️ Be sure to enter our DOOR PRIZE GIVEAWAY for your chance to win a Sobeys Gift Card
🛍️ Masks will be available at the entrance at no cost

⚠️ Weather Update & Rink Closure Notice
Due to the incoming weather system, we will be closing the rinks today at 1:00pm for everyone’s safety.
We will also be delaying our opening tomorrow until 12:00pm to allow time for cleanup and assessment.
Thank you for your understanding, and stay safe out there. We’ll see you back on the ice tomorrow! ⛸️

📢 Facility Notice
Please be advised that the Forum and Civic ice surfaces will close at 4:00pm today. They are scheduled to reopen by 11:30am Thursday morning.
Additionally, Bingo will be closed tonight.
Please note that the Dal Men’s Hockey game has been rescheduled to Friday, with puck drop at 8:00pm.
