A relaxed afternoon with two Canadian curling legends leaves 73 guests smiling

The Orillia Curling Club was host to Jennifer Jones & Brent Laing on September 12th. The two accomplished curlers shared stories in an engaging, candid, humorous and relaxed format and it was an absolute treat for those in attendance.

The afternoon opened with a land acknowledgement from Chief Ted Williams, Chief of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, who acknowledged the land that we have the fortune to share.

A Saturday afternoon with Brent Laing and me. We’re really looking forward to this one!

On September 12, we’ll be joining the Orillia Curling Club for an afternoon of conversation, stories, a Q&A and, knowing the two of us, probably a few laughs along the way.

Afterwards, we’ll be sticking around for photos and some time to chat one on one.

I’ll also be signing copies of Rock Star. If you already have the book, bring it along and I’d love to sign it for you. If you don’t, there’s also a ticket option that includes a copy.

Curling has given Brent and I so much over the years, but one of the very best parts has always been the people we’ve met along the way. We’re excited to spend the afternoon with some of you in Orillia.
