Do you ever notice "gray stuff" accumulating on your silver wires during the Ionic~Colloidal Silver making process?

No worries - this is completely normal. It's silver oxide (oxidation) and while we do not want to drink it, it is a normal part of the silver making process.

Periodically lifting up the silver wire holder with the wires still attached and gently wiping them with a paper towel or soft cloth before re-immersing them into the water is a great idea. Usually doing it once during the 2 hour session is enough, however, some may need to do it a little more frequently. Keep in mind, this is also a good opportunity to “stir” the electrolyte solution a bit (once the wires are clean, move the silver wire holder in a circular motion in the water to mimic stirring).

An option is to filter the solution through an unbleached (organic) paper coffee filter to catch any oxidation / silver flakes before pouring it into the glass jar for storing.

If you are getting lots of oxidation, you may also want to try a different brand of distilled water. You would be surprised how various brands can behave differently!

By the way, a great tip from our tech is to boil the distilled water first, and then brew the silver solution as the water cools down. This creates natural convection in the water and effectively keeps it stirred. This might make all the difference to you.

We want to be clear, using hot water does not in any way speed up the process of making the Ionic~Colloidal Silver, but it does act to create microcirculation which minimizes the build up of oxides on the silver wires.

The choice is yours - you can make the Ionic~Colloidal Silver with room temperature water or you can use hot water.

Wondering the best way to store Ionic~Colloidal Silver?
Hint: It just takes a little T-L-C.

A perfect batch of Ionic~Colloidal Silver sits, freshly brewed. That’s step one. Don’t let your efforts go to waste by improperly storing your solution. Appropriate storage will prolong both its shelf life and potency. Proper storage is a critical step two. How will we remember? TLC.

(T) Temperature
Store Ionic~Colloidal Silver in an area with a stable room temperature. If you store it in a cupboard, make sure it’s not too close to a heater or air conditioning vent. And remember, no refrigeration! Exposing Ionic~Colloidal Silver to extremes of temperatures may affect its potency.

(L) Light
Avoid exposing Ionic~Colloidal Silver to light. Over time, exposure will degrade it by turning the solution gray or black.

Use colored glass to store – dark green, brown or cobalt blue all work well. Some possibilities are dark glass beverage bottles with screw or spring tops.
TIP: If you only have a clear glass bottle available, try wrapping it in duct tape or foil to keep out the ambient light.

(C) Container
Remember Ionic~Colloidal Silver reacts with other compounds. That’s why we recommend storing in a clean glass container and also why distilled water is recommended.

Do not use plastic or metal containers to make or store Ionic~Colloidal Silver because silver will react with both, affecting its quality and potency.

Ensure the glass container you brew or store your solution in is clean and rinsed well from any detergents. Any residue in containers ... and your batch may not be useable.

Does your SOTA Magnetic Pulser lose its strength?

It’s natural to wonder whether a product that you use regularly will, over time, not function as well.

The SOTA Magnetic Pulser is designed to maintain the output and integrity of every single pulse regardless of the age of the Magnetic Pulser. The models MP6 and MP7 are rated for more than 30 million pulses.

What does this mean? If you use your Magnetic Pulser for two sessions a day (Regular Mode) – every day – it will take over 135 YEARS to reach the 30 million pulses for the capacitor to finally wear out and need replacing.

As long as the red light flashes after the series of charging lights, the pulse is being released at full charge. Red light = charge released. The lights are a built-in visual check, so you’ll always know your MP is functioning properly.

✅ Create a Routine
To ensure consistent use, integrate when to drink Ionic~Colloidal Silver into your existing daily routines. What is the best time for you? After brushing your teeth? In the kitchen? At work?

And there are a wide variety of ways to use it, so there are several opportunities to incorporate Ionic~Colloidal Silver into your daily routines. Choose a method, time and place that works for you.

Since it is wise to take breaks after drinking Ionic~Colloidal Silver consistently for a few months, develop a system to remind yourself when to take a break and when to resume drinking it. Setting dates on your cell phone, email calendar, or on a printed calendar.

✅ Keep it Handy
To benefit from Ionic~Colloidal Silver we have to use it! It's easy to make it, store it and then forget about it. That is the biggest stumbling block for most people—the solution gets made and then set in a cupboard where it sits. Out–of–sight often means out–of–mind. The solution does need to be stored in the cupboard, so use something that will remind you to take the Ionic~Colloidal Silver—a Post–it note, cell phone reminder or a shooter glass.

If the kitchen is a convenient spot for you, set your "reminder" by your blender or juicer so you can have some in the morning before you get on with your day. If cleaning your teeth is a better time for you, keep your silver solution in the bathroom cupboard and your "reminder" by the toothbrush.

Here's what works for others:

"I keep a Post–it note on my counter, so that I can walk by it in my kitchen and be reminded to take a swig."

"I keep a shot glass on the bathroom counter so I remember to take the Ionic~Colloidal Silver after brushing my teeth in the morning and again at night."

✅ Be Prepared
In addition to having Ionic~Colloidal Silver made and ready to use, make sure you have distilled water on hand so you can make more right away. If you use a Wall Adaptor for power, mark it "SOTA" so you won't have to search for it each time you use your SOTA Silver Pulser (as a reminder all SOTA Wall Adaptors meet the same specifications, so they are interchangeable). If you use a battery to make your Ionic~Colloidal Silver, be sure to have extra batteries on hand so you can replace a drained battery right away, or have a rechargeable battery ready to go. And don't forget to keep an eye on your Silver Wires—they last a very long time, yet they will need to be replaced when both wires get very thin. Always make sure when you run low on any supplies, that you replenish them right away.

Making a larger batch is also an option. In this case, you would need to have a large glass container—one liter (pint) or four liters (one gallon)—as well as more dark glass bottles for storage.

Really, the idea is to eliminate or at the very least, minimize any disruptions to your Ionic~Colloidal Silver routine. By having the necessary supplies on hand, you are helping to ensure you can stay with your routine to drink Ionic~Colloidal Silver.

✅ Listen to Your Body
A helpful part of the process of a wellness journey is acknowledging the triumphs as well as the bumps in the road. Keeping a journal of your experiences is a great way to track the overall benefits on your wellness journey. Looking back can be a great motivator when you see the changes that have come over time.

The SOTA Silver Pulser is engineered to maximize battery efficiency. Actual battery life will vary depending on the intensity level and the type of battery used.

We recommend using a 9-Volt Alkaline battery. Batteries that are marked "Heavy Duty" or "Extra Duty" are designed for slow drain items and will not work as efficiently with the Silver Pulser. For SP6 and earlier models, as well as the Silver Pulser Lite, a 9-Volt Alkaline battery will typically provide 10–15 hours of operation.

Due to the advanced circuitry in the SP7 model, battery life is typically extended to approximately 12–18 hours.

Rechargeable 9–Volt batteries are also an option for powering the Silver Pulser and Silver Pulser Lite. Be careful though, not all rechargeable batteries are the same size. The only way to be certain the battery will fit in the enclosure properly is to try it with your Silver Pulser.

When making Ionic~Colloidal Silver it is not necessary to use a battery. Instead, the Wall Adaptor that comes with other SOTA units, or a purchased wall adaptor, can be used to make Ionic~Colloidal Silver. The wall adaptor should have the following specifications: an output from 6 to 12 Volts DC with a tip or center positive pin that supplies at least 500 mA (milliamperes) of current.
