It’s time for our yearly end-of-season tradition! Help us empty the freezers at Ross Street Ice Cream Co. while supporting Morning Star, Red Deer’s women-only drop-in centre.

🍦 All cones and scoops—any size—just $4
⏳ While supplies last!
We normally sell most of our remaining ice cream on the first day, but if there’s anything left, we’ll keep scooping on Sunday.

We’ll also be collecting cash donations and urgently needed supplies for Morning Star.

Their greatest current needs are:

• Socks
• Conditioner
• New women’s underwear in all sizes
• Tampons and other menstrual products
• Body wash

They can also use deodorant, razors, microwaveable ramen and other easy-to-prepare food.

Bring your donations to Ross Street Ice Cream Co., enjoy one last scoop of the season and help us fill Morning Star’s shelves! ❤️

🍦 Something sweet is coming back…
We’re getting ready to announce the 4th annual Ross Street Ice Cream Co. fundraiser for Morning Star Red Deer.
Morning Star provides a safe, welcoming drop-in space for vulnerable women in our community, along with showers, laundry, outreach, basic necessities and connections to other supports.

And like we’ve done before, on fundraiser day we keep it ridiculously simple:

ALL SCOOPS. ALL CONES. $3.

No special menu. No complicated rules. Just ice cream, community, and a chance to help support an organization doing important work right here in Red Deer.

🍦 Apparently ice cream is one of the most controversial subjects on Facebook. 😂

Five years of making ice cream in downtown Red Deer and we’re still learning things from the comment sections.

And one thing we should probably clear up: we are NOT The Little Ice Cream & Soda Shoppe. 😂

Honestly, we understand the confusion — two local ice cream shops, both on Ross Street. And we love what they do. More ice cream is a good thing. There’s no ice cream turf war happening here. 😂🍦🍦
