🇨🇦 Team Saskatchewan is heading to Lisbon! 🌎✨

We are excited to announce that Team Saskatchewan Gymnaestrada has been selected to represent Canada in the PAGU Gala at the 2027 World Gymnaestrada in Lisbon, Portugal!

A special shoutout to Bohemka Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, who were also selected to participate in one of the mass routines at the PAGU National Evening, and Regina Rhythmic Gymnastics club for being selected for a city performance!

Congratulations to all of the Saskatchewan athletes and coaches on this incredible achievement.

✨ World Championships Trial! ✨

Our Acro Trio completed their virtual trial for the upcoming World Championships yesterday evening! 🤸‍♀️🌎

We are so proud of the athletes for putting it all out there! Now we wait… 🤞💫

The Gymnastics Target Group Grant is funded by GymSask and Saskatchewan Lotteries to foster the creation of programming and opportunities in gymnastics amongst underrepresented populations.

The Esterhazy Energizers were a recipient of this grant in 2026 to create programming for children and teens living with disabilities. Funding was used to create an environment where programming was tailored to the specific needs of participants – this means a controlled setting with no other classes running, and a high coach to athlete ratio.

As we strive to grow the sport of gymnastics, it’s important we highlight the successes of our athletes and partners along the way. Gymnastics is for everyone, and we are excited to see everyone’s applications next year!

March-May 2026 was filled with exciting milestones for the Saskatchewan gymnastics community. From hosting successful provincial events and welcoming athletes from across the province, to celebrating outstanding performances at national and international competitions, the momentum continues to grow. We also saw continued growth in participation through community initiatives, coach development opportunities, and Gymnastics for All programming, showcasing the strength and diversity of our sport.

As we look ahead to another exciting season, thank you to our clubs, coaches, athletes, officials, volunteers, and supporters for making these achievements possible.
