Skate Canada - Saskatchewan

Skate Saskatchewan is accepting applications for the role of Team Coach (one (1) female and one (1) male).

Selected individuals will travel as part of the team and be responsible to the Saskatchewan Games Council and the Athlete Development Committee. They will communicate directly with the Team Manager (High Performance Director).

⏱Online registration for the PowerSkate Coach Clinic will close at 9:00 PM CST-SK on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026.

📅The course is scheduled for August 29th - 30th in Saskatoon.

Pre-Requisites
✅Be a current Skate Canada registrant with a Skate Canada Club or a registered Coach in good standing.
✅Be minimum 15 years of age.
✅Has a Skate Canada CanSkate Coach, Hockey Canada, or Ringette Canada NCCP Status.
✅Must complete the following Skate Canada eLearning training, one (1) week before the course: Part A – Coaching Foundations eLearning course

Skate Saskatchewan is pleased to announce that Jana Beesley-Capili has joined their team as Program Coordinator, effective June 22, 2026.

Jana is a former competitive skater and has over 25 years of coaching experience with the Moose Jaw Skating Club. As a national trained figure skating coach, she has worked extensively with skaters of all levels, from beginner CanSkate to national competitors. Jana brings with her an abundance of knowledge in all disciplines and all aspects of our sport and we look forward to working with her.
