Another fun weekend in Tobermory with a lot of nice dives, 5 in 1 day for some! We love the September trip…The water’s warmer having had all summer to warm up and we of course were blessed with some super fun people, good food and even some taco’s when we could sneak them in as well.
Thanks to all of our awesome DDS Divers who have attended this and any and all of our other trips and charters this season.
Trips are winding down for the season with hopes of a few “off the books” trips to come and some impromptu road trips to other places as the fall and winter season approaches.
Morrison Quarry, Thousand Islands, Dolime and other places are some nice potential landing spots for the remainder of the season, as well as some nice Humber Bay Diving, Welland and of course in a few weeks Sherkston Quarry should be clear enough and for some fun adventures too.
We have a few dive charters remaining locally, so let’s get out and visit the Tiller and some Lake Erie Diving Sites while the weather stays nice and the water slowly cools off.
Fall Diving is the best diving. Waters are the warmest and often the clearest unless the lake thermocline flips which is always a unique experience too.
Thank you for all the fun and enjoyment. Next season we are already planning some big things and some different trips.
One thing that sticks with is why keep doing the same old, same old all of the time and you know us, we like to break the mold and get out there and do some different stuff. This is where the Lake Erie sites have been so fun and we’ve really enjoyed some of the other amazing places too.
We’re mixing in more technical diving trips next year and a lot more training related trips too, as it makes sense to visit a new spot and truly explore it inside and out, so if you have recommendations on where you’d like to go locally let us know and of course our travel destinations abroad internationally are also in the works too for those not able to join us on the current list of sold out trips.
