Toronto Chill was formed by a small group of aged 50+ Canadian Women when we were accepted into the Granny Basketball League in February of 2024.

We are the first and only Canadian team in the League and we are the sole team in the brand new Great Lakes Division. Pegasus is a Grassroots Organization founded in 1994 by a small group of women to address a community need – Adults with developmental disabilities who were finishing school had few options for continuing to learn and adopt adult roles in their community.
32 years later, we have 5 locations supporting over 60 people 6 days per week, including one specific to our Aging population. We provide community participation support services to adults with developmental disabilities and we are located throughout the East end Beaches Neighborhoods. The funds we raise today will assist us to continue to provide programming to our Participants. Our Ministry of Children and Community Service funding is appreciated but not nearly enough so we count on donations and fundraisers such as this to continue to provide the support we do and build connections with the community.
