We are the first and only Canadian team in the League and we are the sole team in the brand new Great Lakes Division. We eagerly look forward to a number of things - learning to play the game properly, since it's quite different from regular basketball (it's played in zones and there's no running and no jumping;) getting and training referees, scorers and timers; growing the Great Lakes Division in Ontario and in Michigan and New York State (so we can have competitions;) growing the game in Canada; one day being good enough to play in the annual Granny Basketball National tournament in the Midwestern United States, held every summer. Coach and Player: Vicky Merrick
Captain: Lorna Beatty
Advisory Board: Jill Kohlsmith, Marnie Shepherd
Our Charity is Eastminster United Ministries Out Of the Cold Program and Nourish Food Bank. Thank you Pino and James! Special thanks to Kade Campbell of London, Ontario for the logo and to Emily Lee for help with Social Media. No Arthur, you can't be the team mascot, you don't look anything like a polar bear....
