A little late but better than never!

PASS Meet #4 happened on Saturday May 9th and had a total of 50 swimmers in attendance! With Bronze doing their first 25 fly, Silver racing their first 100 back, and Gold their 200 free, this meet was packed with exciting new swims and team spirit!

Big thank you to all the volunteers who helped run this event. ‘Goodbye’ to spring and ‘hello’ to summer as we prepare for our final PASS Meet on June 13th!

The Canadian Swimming Coaches Association Top Age Group (TAG) Short Course Rankings are a national benchmark that highlight the top swimmers and clubs across the country 🇨🇦

Each swimmer is ranked within the top 50 in Canada for their age group and event, with clubs earning points based on those performances. Those points are combined across all age groups to measure overall club depth and performance nationwide.

This season, more than 200 clubs scored points across Canada.

VPSC finished 17th overall in the country with 2,206 points across all age groups — a reflection of the strength and depth of our program.

We’re very proud of the work our athletes, coaches, and volunteers are putting in every day to help move this club forward. Results like this are built through consistent effort over time, and it’s exciting to see that work continue to show on the national level.

Our SP, JP, JD, YP, and YDA groups headed to the West Coast Open on May 1–3 for our second LC meet of the season. With a focus on tackling longer events, our athletes showed incredible efforts as they adapted to the 50m pool.

We wrapped up the weekend with 32 new Divisional events and 2 new Provincial events qualified.
