Safety never takes a day off and neither does our appreciation for these amazing people! Thank you to our incredible team of lifeguards for your hard work, quick thinking, and commitment to keeping our pool a safe place for everyone in our community. BC Day Hours & Programs
WSPR is open 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM on BC Day: Monday, August 3, 2026.

JDF Golf Course is open 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM (weather permitting).
Please note:
• No drop-in fitness or wellness classes
• No sports programs or skating
• No swim lessons or Aquafit

Saturday, August 1 & Sunday, August 2 Regular facility hours. No swim lessons. No Skating drop-in programs

Stick & Puck Schedule Changes for August! 🏒

Starting August 8th, we will be splitting Stick & Puck into two different age groups for the remainder of the summer:

12:00 PM – 12:50 PM | 12 & Under Stick & Puck
Full gear is mandatory for children. Parents are welcome to join their child on the ice!

1:00 PM – 1:50 PM | 13+ Stick & Puck
Full gear is recommended. A hockey helmet, hockey gloves, skates, and a stick are mandatory.

Important Details:
Participants must bring their own gear for both sessions.

No games, scrimmages, or drills permitted.

The areas behind and in front of the nets must remain clear.

Pucks will be provided.

Both sessions are limited to 30 patrons on a first-come, first-served basis, so please arrive early to guarantee your spot!

The Western Lacrosse Association Playoffs kick off in a week at The Q Centre! 🥍

The Victoria Shamrocks take on the Nanaimo Timbermen in the WLA Playoff Semi-Finals. It's a Best-of-Five series between two island rivals, and it all starts Tuesday, August 4th at The Q Centre!

The series returns to The Q Centre on Friday, August 7th for Game 3 (and Game 5 on August 12th, if necessary).
