Calling all aspiring tiny dancers! 🧑🏻‍🩰 We're offering a FREE trial of our Wednesday 4:45-5:30 Creative Movement class for ages 3-5!

This class is the perfect introduction to dance for little ones. Students have fun learning dance basics all the while improving their confidence and coordination!

We cap our preschool classes at a maximum of 10 students. If you're wanting to come for a trial, we need you to RSVP! Email [email protected] to reserve your spot!

If your child tries the class and loves it, we're still accepting registrations! Spread the word and tell all your Winnipeg parent friends with preschool/kindergarten-aged kids! 💕

We had our staff meeting last night to kick off SEASON 5! Our team is pumped and ready for the year ahead!

Our teachers got to take a tour of the new studio, see the progress on the renovations, and get excited about our future home! What was once church is shaping up to become a fantastic studio space. Season 5 is going to be such a memorable year! We can't wait to get started and see all our new and returning Bend friends next week! 💃🏻🪩5️⃣

Highlights from Recreational Camp Week 2! 🪩🤸🏻‍♀️🕺🏻

Last week was our final camp of the summer! We had a great time with our Recreational Camp Week 2 campers and have overall had a fantastic summer of camps!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Recreational Camp 2 and over the summer! We had fun and hope you did too! Summer in the studio is the best. Camps are great for learning new skills, making new friends, and creating memories! We love camps! ☀️

We look forward to seeing many of our camp students back again for regular season classes in just a few weeks! For those who may not be in a fall class, we hope to see you again next summer! 💛

Highlights from Intensive Camp Week 2! ☀️🧑🏻‍🩰

Thank you to all the dancers and teachers who joined us for the week! This week was geared towards experienced dancers and our teachers did not hold back! We pushed the dancers this week and they rose to the challenge and worked so hard! 🔥

We did classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, acro, aerial silks, aerial hoop, flexibility, PBT, and got to do some mental skills training with a sport psychology expert! It was a fantastic week with a great group of dancers. Awesome work, everyone! 👏🏻

What a week we've had! Thank you to everyone who has sent kind messages and well wishes since we announced our move! ❤️

We've had a really busy week between planning and starting work at the new space and having our Pop Divas themed Dance & Theatre camp running with Meraki Theatre at the studio!

Thank you, campers for joining us this week! We hope you had fun finding your inner pop divas! 🌟🎤🪩

We are so excited to announce we'll be moving to 3 ST. VITAL RD! 🎉

This move is the beginning of a new chapter for Bend Academy! There is so much to look forward to in moving into this new space and the St. Vital community. Get ready for a bigger and better Bend!

3 St. Vital Rd. was previously the home of St. Mary Magdalene Church. I want to send a huge thank you to the church members/wardens, Brian, Carey, and Cathy for everything they did in helping with the sale of the building. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful place for Bend Academy to call our own. I know our studio community will appreciate this space and make so many memories there.

As mentioned in our initial announcement post about moving, we don't have an exact timeline yet for when we'll be in the new space. There are renovations to do at the new building. We're going to try and get everything done as quickly as possible and hope to move early in the 2026-2027 dance season. I will keep you all in the loop as things progress! Operations will continue running as normal at our current space at 5-2 Donald St. for the time being.

Now, please help spread the word! 🗣️ Tell all your friends that Bend Academy is coming to St. Vital and they should all register for our upcoming season! Classes start September 14!
