Congratulations to Avielle Toews, an 11 year-old North Kildonan resident, on her incredible achievements at the 2026 ManSask Swimming Championships!

In March, Avielle broke two provincial records in the girls 11–12 category, in both the 50m and 200m and breaststroke. Her strength and discipline at such a young age are truly inspiring, and it’s clear she has a bright future ahead.

This week, I was pleased to present her with a certificate in recognition of her achievements.

A special shoutout to Arthur Godoy, who took home the overall male and Manitoba Male 13 & U high point awards, and Avielle Toews, who earned the 12 & U Manitoba Female high point award! 🥇🙌

Our team also walked away with the Manitoba and Overall Small Club High Point Awards, an astonishing achievement! 🏆🎉

The team of Raul, Arthur, Nash, and Caelen broke the long-standing 200 Freestyle Relay record 🤝⚡

This record had stood since Dec 3, 1992, over 30 years! 🏊♂️🔥

Congratulations to these incredible athletes for making history and showing what teamwork and dedication can achieve! 🙌🏅

🔥 Big shoutout to Avielle Toews! 🔥

She broke the 200 Breaststroke record at ManSask💥 previously set on Feb 9, 2019, by Mia West (2:47.50). It was a tough record to beat, but Avielle stayed laser-focused, put her head down, and crushed it! 💪👏

And that’s not all, Avielle also set a new record in the 50 Breaststroke with a time of 34.50 . Previous record was clocked at 35.12 (from 2014) 👏

Way to go, Avielle! Keep making waves! 🌊✨

🎉 Huge congratulations to Arthur Godoy! 🎉

He broke his own 100 Butterfly provincial record at ManSask with an incredible time of 1:02.30, now ranking in the Top 3 in Canada 🇨🇦🔥

But that’s not all, Arthur also set a new record in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:06.64 🏊♂️💨

And wait for it... He smash the 200 IM record! The previous record from 1980 was 2:24.70, and Arthur now owns it at 2:22.25! 🙌🏆🎉

Plus, he broke his own 100 Freestyle record with a blazing 56.83 💪🔥
