Birds Hill Triathlon is almost here! As you make your final race preparations, don't forget one of the most important parts of race day: knowing the rules.
A quick review of the rules can help you avoid unnecessary penalties and ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable race for everyone on course. Some of the most common infractions include:
✅ Fastening your helmet before touching your bike
✅ Not riding your bike in transition
✅ Mounting and dismounting only at the designated lines
✅ Passing safely and avoiding drafting
Whether you're racing your first triathlon or your fiftieth, a refresher is always a good idea. Take a few minutes before race day to review the rules and athlete information package so you can focus on what matters most: having a great race!
Good luck to everyone racing at Birds Hill this weekend. We can't wait to see you at the start line!

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to low water levels and the absence of water quality testing, the Birds Hill Triathlon will be held as a duathlon-only event this weekend. As a result, all race categories will be converted to a duathlon format.
We understand this news may be disappointing for many athletes. However, this decision was made with participant safety and fair competition as our top priorities.
We appreciate everyone's understanding, flexibility, and continued support of our local racing community. We're looking forward to welcoming you to the start line and delivering a fantastic race experience this weekend.

Congratulations, Just Tri It!
Last week, members of the Just Tri It program crossed the finish line of their very first multisport event at the Duathlon in the Park Series!
Over the past several weeks, these athletes have been learning the fundamentals of training, racing, transitions, and what it means to be part of the incredible triathlon community. Race day was an opportunity to put those skills into practice, and they did an amazing job.
From pre-race nerves to crossing the finish line with smiles and a sense of accomplishment, every athlete should be proud of what they achieved. Taking on your first multisport race is a big milestone, and we're excited to see where your journey takes you next.
Congratulations to all of the Just Tri It participants, coaches, mentors, and supporters who helped make this experience possible. The first race is always one to remember!
Welcome to the multisport community - we can't wait to see you at future races!
