💦AQUA COUNTDOWN 💦
TOP TIP – Listen to your BODY!
💧 1 – Start Small
Begin with smaller movements and a comfortable pace. You can always increase the intensity as you feel stronger and more confident.
💧 2 – Quality Over Speed
Focus on good posture and controlled movements rather than rushing through the exercises. Moving well is more important than moving fast.
💧 3 – It's Your Workout
Everyone has different fitness levels and abilities. If something doesn't feel right, slow down, take a rest, or choose an easier option. There's no pressure to keep up with anyone else.

TOP TIP – ALWAYS shower before entering the pool
Here are 3 good reasons to always shower before getting into a swimming pool:
1. Keeps the pool cleaner
Your body carries sweat, oils, cosmetics, deodorant, sunscreen, dirt, and dead skin cells. A quick shower removes much of this, reducing contamination in the water.
2. Helps chlorine work properly
When chlorine reacts with sweat, urine, and body oils, it forms compounds called chloramines, which cause the strong "pool smell" and can irritate eyes and skin. Showering beforehand reduces these contaminants so the chlorine can focus on killing germs.
3. Protects swimmers' health
Rinsing off removes some bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms from your skin. This helps maintain better water quality and lowers the risk of spreading germs to other swimmers.

Remember your sunglasses!
Top Tip:
• Sunglasses reduce the intense sunlight reflecting off the water, helping you see more comfortably and avoid eye strain.
• Wearing UV-protective sunglasses helps reduce exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, which can damage your eyes over time.
• By cutting brightness and squinting, sunglasses make it easier to concentrate on your aqua fitness workout and enjoy the session!
