How often are you doing one thing while your mind is already five steps ahead? 🐰⏰

One of my favourite books, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, reminds me that the only moment we can truly experience is this one.

Sometimes, the best thing we can do is pause, breathe and return to the here and now. It helps quiet the mental noise, ease stress and bring back our focus.

You don’t always need to do more. Sometimes, you simply need to be where you already are. 🌿

Is your mind usually in the present moment—or already five steps ahead?

“I started exercising with a personal trainer… and I actually felt worse.”

I’ve heard this from new clients who had previously trained with personal trainers who didn’t have the additional qualification or understanding needed for their health condition.

And this matters, because some health conditions genuinely change how exercise should be prescribed, progressed and monitored.

Arnold has high blood pressure. During shoulder presses and planks he was getting uncomfortable pressure in his head and feeling unwell.

With hypertension, breath-holding, heavy straining and prolonged high-tension efforts can create a much greater blood-pressure response.

That doesn’t mean Arnold shouldn’t exercise. Quite the opposite. Exercise can be hugely beneficial — but it needs to be selected, coached and progressed appropriately.

Susan has rheumatoid arthritis. She had been doing very high-repetition sessions and then experiencing significant fatigue and flare-ups afterwards.

With rheumatoid arthritis, joint symptoms, fatigue, training volume, intensity and whether the condition is currently stable all matter.

This is one of the reasons my Exercise Referral qualification is important to me.

I previously worked within GP exercise referral schemes in the UK, supporting people exercising with conditions including:

High blood pressure
High cholesterol
Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
Obesity / weight-management-related conditions
Asthma
Mild–moderate COPD
Osteoarthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis
Osteopenia
Osteoporosis
Non-specific lower back pain
Anxiety
Mild–moderate depression

Having a health condition doesn’t automatically mean exercise needs to be avoided.

Very often, it means exercise needs to be better understood, carefully adapted and progressed at the right pace.

You can still become stronger, fitter and more confident.

But you deserve a programme that understands the difference between pushing you forward and pushing you so hard that your health suffers.

If you have a health condition and have been nervous about starting exercise, you’re very welcome to message me.

IF YOU DON’T MAKE TIME FOR YOUR HEALTH, YOU MAY EVENTUALLY HAVE TO MAKE TIME FOR ILLNESS.

Health is underrated — until you lose it.

And the foundations of good health are often much simpler than we make them.

💧 Drink water regularly.

🥗 Eat mostly whole foods.
Aim for around 80% whole foods to support your intake of fibre, vitamins and minerals, alongside enough protein to support your body.

🏋️ Strength train at least twice a week.
Ideally, train the whole body and cover the major muscle groups.

❤️ Look after your cardiovascular fitness.
WHO recommends 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week OR 75–150 minutes of vigorous activity.

🚶 Move throughout the day.
Walk. Stand up. Take the stairs. Avoid spending most of the day completely sedentary.

🤝 Stay connected.
Maintain friendships, social contact and a strong support network.

😴 Protect your sleep.
Create a consistent sleep routine and give your body the recovery it needs.

And something you may not want to hear:

Keep putting these essentials at the bottom of your list, and eventually your health may demand the time you were unwilling to give it.

You don’t need perfection.

You need consistency.

Improve your life. Today.

Do it for you.
Do it for the people you love.

Movement in childhood and adolescence isn’t just about fitness — it helps build confidence, resilience, focus and a stronger sense of what the body is capable of.

Personal training for under-18s can be about so much more than exercise.

It can help young people build confidence, get stronger, improve focus, enjoy moving their body and maybe even make a new friend along the way.

And they definitely don’t have to be a fitness fanatic.

I wasn’t either. In fact, I hated PE at school. Sometimes it’s simply about finding the right environment, the right type of exercise and someone who helps you discover what you’re actually capable of.

In my private studio in Los Pacos, Fuengirola, under-18s can train 1:1 or with a buddy.

💪 Get stronger and fitter
✨ Become more confident
🎯 Challenge themselves
🧠 Improve focus
❤️ Build a healthier relationship with exercise
🤝 Train with a buddy and share the cost

Sessions are adapted to the individual, whether they already enjoy sport or are only just starting to find their confidence with exercise.

👯 TRAIN WITH A BUDDY — SHARE THE FUN & THE COST

"OAH" - the most soul lifting sound a client make for every coach 🤣💪 it works!!!

Personal training doesn’t always have to be one-to-one. It works just as efficient - or even better- when you have a gym buddy.

Train as a pair with your partner, friend, sister, colleague or favourite training buddy and enjoy your sessions together while sharing the cost.

💪 Personal Training for 2
💶 Starting from €25 per person

Training as a pair still feels like personal training, not a group class. With only two people, I can still closely watch technique, adapt exercises individually and give both of you plenty of attention throughout the session.

So you get the motivation and fun of training together, while still having the supervision, individual adjustments and personal approach you’d expect from PT.

If your wellness routine feels like another job, it’s not working for you.

Busy women don’t need perfect routines. We need habits that fit around work, family, caregiving, household logistics and real life.

Here’s the article in a nutshell:

• Plan 3 + 2 meals
Choose 3 easy meals you can repeat and 2 quick backup options. Less decision-making, more consistency.

• Think protein first
Start meals with protein, then add fibre and colour to help support steadier energy.

• Choose exercise by time available
Have a 10, 20 and 30-minute option ready. Walking, mobility and strength all count.

• Use a 2-minute reset between roles
Try breathing in for 4 counts and out for 6, then relax your jaw and shoulders.

• Protect your sleep
Create a short wind-down routine, keep your phone away from the bed and write down tomorrow’s top 3 priorities.

• Replace draining habits instead of fighting them
Notice the cue, then choose a quick competing action: water, tea, stretching, brushing your teeth or stepping away from your phone.

• Do a 2-minute morning check-in
How do I feel?
What do I need?
What matters most today?

• Take a 10-minute movement snack
Walk, stretch, climb stairs or move however feels good.

• Keep your wake-up time fairly consistent
Your body responds well to rhythm.

• Build your plate before grazing
Aim for protein + produce first, especially on busy days.

• Make your busy-day version easier
Ten minutes still counts. One good meal still counts. One reset still counts.

Bottom line:
Your wellness routine should support your real life, not become another thing to manage.

Choose one small change this week, repeat it, and notice what happens to your energy and mood.
