Aerobic vs Anaerobic Training — why both matter

You might hear these terms in fitness, but what do they actually mean?
👉 Aerobic training is steady movement where your body uses oxygen to produce energy.
Think longer cardio tracks, dance routines, marching, grapevines - where you feel warm, slightly breathless, but still able to talk.
👉 Anaerobic training is short bursts of higher intensity where your body can’t deliver oxygen fast enough to keep up.
Think strength work, HIIT sections, jumps, heavier weights - where talking is definitely not happening 🤣
❤️ Why this matters (especially for women 40+)
We need BOTH.
Aerobic training:
✔ Improves heart health
✔ Builds stamina and endurance
✔ Supports fat metabolism
