City of Armagh Rugby Club is delighted to welcome a new sponsorship partner for its mini rugby section. Naturo Pet Food has signed a three-year sponsorship deal to become the principal sponsor of the mini section, a first in the club’s history.
The mini section in Armagh has continues to prosper with over 250 boys and girls registering each year. The section is supported by over 40 volunteer coaches across age groups ranging from P1 to Under 12s. The highlight of the season is the mini blitz which will take place at the Palace Grounds in April 2027.
Naturo Pet Food is manufactured locally by Mackle Pet Foods and is one of the leading brands in the UK and Ireland pet food sector. It contains 100% natural ingredients with added vitamins and minerals offering complete wet dog food, dry dog food and wet cat food.
Managing Director, Philip Hamilton commented, “The Mackle family have been manufacturing high-quality pet food in Co. Armagh for over 50 years and we are delighted to support the local community through our sponsorship of the mini section at Armagh Rugby Club. We look forward to contributing to the success of the mini section with boys and girls starting their rugby journey that will see them progress to youth and senior rugby.”
Mini Rugby Convenor, Ami Mandrekar commented, “we are delighted to welcome Naturo Pet Food as our new sponsor and their support in the coming years will help promote mini rugby to a wide audience of school children.”
Club President, Don McDowell also welcomed the new sponsor and stated, “Naturo Pet Food is a premium brand, manufactured locally and the financial support from the Mackle family is much appreciated. The costs of running a Rugby Club continue to rise and our sponsorship partners make a valuable contribution supporting the club’s activities”.
