Managers players of the match this week could have gone to several people but the one who got it was Kye Chapman. Kye was a threat whenever he got the ball. He got an assist with his head and no one thought he could head a ball that well. But Kye also took his goal well and got stuck in and added to his impressive pre season record so far. Keep it up Kye.💪🏼

Man of the match picked by the opposition was Harvey Donnelly. Harvey was a threat all game and caused them problems from the first minute to the last. This was Harvey’s second game for the club and the young forward added another 2 goals to his pre season tally.

On Sunday we came away with a 5-1 win against Folkestone Railway Club FC. We started strong going 4-0 up in 20 minutes. It was a good test against a physical and hard working team. In the second half we managed to add another goal. A good overall performance and with a small squad that was available.

This weekend we face a team from the Dover league, Folkestone Railway Club FC. This should be a different test for the lads. More minutes in the legs as we look to push for a successful season. Come down and show your support. The bar will be open for hot and cold refreshments.

This week’s the manager chose David Yates at his player of the match. David is so calm and collective on the ball and controlled the middle. His passing accuracy is top notch and will be a vital player for us this season. Since the start of pre season his performances have just got better and better. We are really impressed.

This week’s man of the match went to Harvey Donnelly on his debut. Scoring a goal and getting an assist. He was a threat all game and we are delighted with what we saw and excited to see what he can do for us this season.

Yesterday saw us draw to Radnor Park Rovers 2-2. It was a good physical test and both teams did have chances. A close game. A few things we can work on for the upcoming pre season games.
