✨My Running Journey✨
As someone who religiously doesn’t run and doesn’t like running when signing up for cancer research’s 5K in June a lot of things were going through my head - more along the likes of what on earth are you doing however i signed up for it and went on my first ever run and much to my surprise it actually wasn’t that bad, since then i have done a handful of runs (nowhere near as many as what i’d of liked to do) but i am proud of myself for doing them including my first ever run which was in Lake Garda (definitely ruined every run in the UK because it was so scenic) and my first ever 5k which was run/walk while i was in Tenerife (respect the commitment).
The 5k is actually next weekend on the 7th June in Stockport and i’m actually looking forward to it, my aim is to actually finish it😆 no but in all seriousness i would like to finish in under 40minutes as for someone who doesn’t run i would definitely be happy with this.
I’ve found running definitely more mentally challenging than lifting weights but i’ve actually quite enjoyed it and i’m going to make it apart of my gym routine.

Some food i ate while in Valencia because life is about balance.
Eating one pizza won’t make you gain weight, being out of your calorie deficit will.
If you restrict all the food you love, your more likely to fail, eating chocolate, pizza or whatever your favourite food is in moderation can actually make it easier to stick to your deficit because your still eating things you enjoy.
Plus a holiday is a time to treat yourself🫶
