We are still looking for a few roles

2 x barcode scanner

If you would like to try one of the roles but are a bit nervous please drop me a message and I can talk you through it. All of our roles are very straightforward and you will have lots of support

We have a cancellation on Saturday 7th November as the preparations will be underway for the Locke park bonfire. Its not very often we cancel here at Barnsley, where will you go instead?

It's not very often that I am Run Director but I had that privilege today. I would like to thank the 29 volunteers today. From the gang who set up and take down the finish funnel, to the timing and token teams and all the marshals on the course as well as others behind the scenes - thanks for volunteering every week and making the RD job as easy as it is.
It was also nice to welcome the 16 Dewsbury runners today, a couple even left some comments.
Thanks again from David Needham RD

We still have some gaps on our roster

1 x barcode scanner
1 x late carpark

These roles are important to help make sure our event runs smoothly, can you help?

Its parkruns 22nd birthday this week and to celebrate they're encouraging everyone to wear a tutu. Unfortunately if we can't fill the roster we can't go ahead and will miss the celebrations.

Can you help us to fill the gaps and make parkrun happen, we still need

1 x late carpark
1 x barcode scanner
1 x parkwalker

Please let me know if you can help. We will make a decision around 6pm tonight.

Tutus at the ready!

Did you know that when parkrunday falls on the 22nd of the month, it becomes Tutu Day?

So, for our 22nd birthday, we want to go one step further with a sea of tutus at parkrun this weekend 😍

Who’s in? 🧡
