What a performance from Pinfold Pumas today as they took on Worksop Boys & Girls 💪⚽
We started on the right foot, finding an early opening goal and setting the tone. The game slowed down a bit after that, and when we conceded a penalty, it brought things level going into half time. Heads dipped briefly, but the belief was still there.
After a few words and pointers from the coaches, the energy lifted straight away. From the first whistle of the second half to the very last, the Pumas were firing on all cylinders 🔥
The result? A dominant 6–1 win 👏
Special mention to our captain Jenson for an absolutely insane free kick — struck perfectly and a real moment of quality 🎯
Coach’s Player of the Match went to the whole team for an incredible all-round performance,
Opposition Player of the Match went to Jenson
Proud of every single player these last couple of games, the work rate of every single one of them has been amazing 💪
Proper team effort ❤️🖤❤️

In Loving Memory of Liam Green
Everyone at Pinfold Pumas is absolutely heartbroken to hear about the loss of Liam Green.
Liam was a big part of our community and a great lad. We are all thinking of him and his family at this incredibly tough time. While we can’t begin to imagine what they are going through, we want them to know they have the full support of everyone at the club.
As a mark of our respect:
The club has made a donation to the Official GoFundMe Page set up in Liam's memory. These funds will assist with funeral costs and a memorial bench in Cudworth Park.
We will be sending a wreath on behalf of the club once funeral details are confirmed.
Rest in peace, Liam. You will be deeply missed by your Pumas family ❤️⚽❤️

Pinfold Pumas 5 - 1 North Gawber Colliery
What a game for the girls today!! The Pinny girls are through to the quarter finals of the County Cup!! The first ever Pinfold team to do so and we are so proud of that!!
We started off by getting a massive shock!! North gawber came out fighting and alot better than I think any of the girls were expecting and they deserve so much credit for that!! Scoring within the first 6 minutes definitely made our girls wake up!! The further into the game and the better we became. Constantly on the attack and putting the pressure on. 20 minutes in we finally scored our first goal and they kept coming!! We managed to keep North Gawber from scoring anymore and we managed to score 5.. with another 10 shots narrowly missing!!
A massive well done to oppositions lass of the Grass Summer!! After returning from injury and quite clearly not fully healed Summer demonstrated her usual strength and desire to win the ball. Sending the balls through showing her creativity for the game!!
A massive well done to Willow for winning managers girl of the Grass. An unbelievable performance upfront. Not only did she score 4 goals (nearly another 10) but it was the work rate she put in to get them goals. She was constantly on the attack and did not give the other team a minute to think!! Week in and week out Willow is showing how much she is improving as a striker (which she has played in since September).
Goals Willow ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ Carmel ⚽️

Thank You to Our Volunteers!
We want to take a moment to express our gratitude to the incredible volunteer workforce that keeps our club running. Without your hard work and dedication, we would not be able to provide the opportunities to all the players at the football club.
In particular, we would like to spotlight Simon Atkinson, Anthony Woodward (Eggy) and Danny Newman for the brilliant contribution they’ve made to the club over the years. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and for being at the heartbeat of our football community.
From all at Pinfold Pumas J.F.C.

🌹 Remembrance Sunday 🌹
Today all our Pinfold teams came together to pause, reflect and remember those who gave everything for the lives we live today.
Players, coaches and parents stood side by side to honour the fallen with a minute’s silence before kick-off a small gesture, but one filled with gratitude and respect.
Lest we forget. ❤️

All Pinfold Pumas teams will be observing a minute’s silence of Remembrance this weekend before all our games and players will wear poppies on their shirts as a mark of respect.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

The U10s Reds claimed their first silverware of the season, overcoming an organised Treeton Terriers White team in the Prisor Cup Final this morning.
The game started at a fast pace and was end to end in the early stages, however the Pumas settled and took control of the game as half time approached.
Although the Pumas were having most of the ball and creating some good chances, they were unable to break the opposition defence down and the hosts looked very dangerous on the break.
However, the deadline was finally broken following a good run from Jaxson. The ball dropped to Jaxx on the edge of the box who hit a sweetly hit strike into the back of the net.
There could have been more goals in the dying stages of the game with both teams working hard until the final whistle.
Player of the Match was awarded to Jaxx.

U8’s Pinfold Red vs Pogmoor Red
Another victory for newly promoted reds against a strong Pogmoor side.
Equal game in the first half, end to end football with goals coming from both sides, the Reds conceding a few unlucky ones due to the blinding sun for the lads at the back.
Second half they came out fighting and ground out a well deserved win in the end.
Development game was a different story, with the reds peppering the opponents goal throughout and another well deserved win.

Today, the U12s were away again this weekend. This time, it was the turn of Afc Norton Woodseats.
Pinny took the lead first, this week. A nice little though ball from tommy Set Striker Robbie away, beating the last defender and slotting home without hesitation.
Pinny then became sloppy, letting the ball bounce, allowing norton to win first and second balls, not following runners, which eventually saw us go in at half time 2-1 down.
A half-time reminder of what we needed to do better clearly worked. A different pinfold came out for the second half. winning every ball, creating lots of chances. The constant pressure was too much for the home team. A perfectly driven corner from brodie was met by the head of India from the edge of the box, 2-2 game on.
Both teams then battled the remainder of the game, both wanting that winning goal. Fortunately, for pinfold that fell to the feet of Robbie, who made sure Pinny took the long ride home with 3 points on the table. Both coaches are really proud of the grit and determination the team showed to turn the game around and to grab the win.
Opposition and parents player of the match India, a top performance capped with a captains headed goal.
Managers player of the match Freddie. For tireless running, playing in any position asked, and 💯 the best attitude on the pitch today 👏🏼
Also today we got to wear our new away kit. A massive thank you to Team weston cleaning services for their help getting the kit.
