🌟 October Swimmer of the Month – Sallie 🌟
A huge well done to Sallie, our October Swimmer of the Month! 👏🏊‍♀️

Sallie has recently passed Bronze 2 in Rookie Lifeguard, which is a brilliant achievement in itself.

But the biggest reason we’re so proud of her is for something she did while on holiday.

Sallie spotted a child in difficulty in the water and, thanks to her quick thinking and the skills she has learned, she was able to help bring the child back to safety without putting herself in danger.

That takes confidence, awareness and a really calm head in a frightening situation.

We’re incredibly proud that Sallie was able to put what she has learned into practice when it really mattered.

Well done, Sallie — a very deserving Swimmer of the Month. 💛

After winning the Natural Physique Association Universe, Hoyland Yourspace Instructor Mark continued his journey across America. During his travels, he stumbled upon a MONUMENT TO LIFEGUARDS located outside the Lifeguard Operations Center in Hermosa Beach, California. Mark shared this photograph with us, requesting that we honour the hard work and dedication of all lifeguards at Barnsley Premier Leisure and globally for ensuring our safety in the water. We certainly can't say no to our newly crowned Masters Mr. Universe!

A huge thank you to all our lifeguards! 🙌🏊‍♂️💖
