Sore bodies? 🤷
Sore heads? ✅✅✅

While the boys did their thing on the pitch, we were delighted to host a sell out pre-match lunch for our former players!

Generations of Basingstoke players reunited, telling tales of years gone by and drinking a pint or twelve in the clubhouse, before heading out to the sideline and giving their all supporting the current side.

What a day - thank you all for coming down and we can't wait to see you all soon 💙💛

It's Game Day! 💥

Our first Men's 1st XV Home game of the year also marks our first club lunch of the year! Every home fixture sees us host a three course lunch, where members young and old are invited to take in the atmosphere before kick off 🍽️

This week's lunch is a Former Players' lunch - which might get quite messy... 👀

There's no shortage of contributions across the club to make these lunches a success - lunch organiser David Crabbe, the pre-lunch set up team, JE Group, who print our programmes, club hero Stewart Gillies for continuing to collate our programme, our kitchen staff, bar staff and young players who act as waiters, alongside a huge shift from club guardian angel Sinéad Dunne to get the show on the road 💙💛

To book onto a club lunch, fill in the sheet attached to the bar or contact Sinéad on [email protected] ✉️

Home games are back, which means one thing - duty days are too! 💙💛

Our Under 14s are the first side to step up to the task, as they act as ball boys for tomorrow's fixture and fundraise for the season ahead. If that wasn't enough, the boys get to cheer on their sponsored player Gareth Lewis doing what he does best, tearing it up on the pitch! 💥

Whether you have a child that age keen to get involved in the game or if you're just after a sweet treat, head down to Down Grange ahead of kick off and get to know the side!
