The Club was first established in the early 1950’s when it shared a small pavilion at Odiham’s cricket ground, fielded only two teams and had no more than thirty members. We now have a playing membership in the region of 180+ members enabling us to field 6 Men’s teams, 6 Ladies teams, 5 youth teams and a mixed team on a regular basis. 🏆 MIXED FINALS DAY🏆
A huge congrats to our winners of the cup & plate in our mixed summer league finals day!
🏆 Our very own Basingstoke 1 side won the cup in a 5-1 win against Alton
🥇Scarlet Badgers took home the plate with a 3-0 win vs Basingstoke 3
A huge well done & thank you to all our teams for taking part each week and for making it a fantastic tournament once again🙌
And a big shout out to all our umpires who have volunteered to help over the summer, we can’t do it without you👏👏

Congratulations Frankie!!! 🎊what a fabulous performance!
It was the turn of the ladies club championships this weekend ⛳
20 entrants took part in yet another hot weekend for golf 🌞🥵
Bernice Gunn led the field after the first round with a gross 86 followed closely by Karen Gunther, Sue Gale and Frankie Tierney all just one shot further back 👏⛳
In the nett competition the first round leader was Karina Palmer who led with a superb nett 69, followed by our ladies captain, Tracey Mitchell and Kelley Huff both with a nett 71 👏 ⛳
All to play for on day 2 😬
It was Frankie Tierney who produced the goods in round 2 to win both the gross, with a score of 174, and nett with a score of 144 👏 Congratulations to our new ladies club champion, Frankie Tierney 👏 Frankie has won the nett trophy in the past, but this is her first time winning the championship trophy with a two round gross total of 174 🏆👏🥇
Runner-up in the gross, Sue Gale, finished just one shot behind with 175 👏🥈
with Kelley Huff runner up in the nett with 149 on a countback 👏🥈

We're looking for someone to support our Ladies' 2s on Saturdays this season.
Our Ladies' 2s coach (Baggy) will continue to lead training during the week, but due to taking on the Men's 1s matchday coaching role, we're looking for someone to help support the team on matchdays.
The role isn't about coaching or making tactical decisions. Instead, you'll work alongside the captain and coach, helping to ensure the matchday plan runs smoothly and allowing the players to focus on their hockey.
Typical responsibilities could include:
• Helping manage substitutions alongside the captain and team
• Supporting younger players
• Assisting with warm-ups, organisation and communication
• Being an extra pair of hands to help the team and captain where needed
Experience in hockey is welcome, but it's certainly not essential. If you've been involved in football, rugby, netball or any other team sport, or simply enjoy supporting a team we'd love to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity for a parent, former player, volunteer or sports enthusiast to become part of a fantastic group and make a real difference on matchdays.
