It was a week of incredible and invaluable experience on the international stage for duo Poppy Tydeman and Lowri Windsor at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games 🙌

Team Wales had to settle for 10th place overall following today's defeat to Tonga but we were proud to see Poppy, the Team Bath Fans' NXT Gen Player of the Year, make an impact in all six matches and Lowri deservedly earn her first three senior caps - with two of those matches coming against semi-finalists New Zealand and Jamaica.

Congratulations to star Lowri Windsor who made her senior international bow for Team Wales at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games yesterday! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💙💛

Lowri made a big impact from the bench, as did club colleague Poppy Tydeman, as Wales beat Trinidad and Tobago 74-30 💪

After the game Poppy had the pleasure of presenting Lowri with her debut cap - surely the first of many to come!

This talented group have been working incredibly hard and will spend the next few weeks preparing for the tournament, where they will proudly represent the South West and complete against the best young netballers from across the country.

📈We're also backing Hayesfield's fundraising campaign aimed at giving their outdoor courts a much-needed renovation ensuring their facilities match their reputation for excellence.

A huge congratulations to Poppy Tydeman and Lowri Windsor on their selection for the Welsh Feathers squad for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, taking place from 23 July to 2 August 2026.

TBN Fan's player of the Year, Tydeman and NXT Gen debutant, Lowri, will also be joined by our Academy and NXT Gen Head Coach Natalie Roddy who will be travelling to Glasgow as Assistant Coach for the Welsh squad.

Best of luck to all three as they prepare to represent Wales on the international stage. We'll be cheering you on all the way! 💪💙💛

We were so proud to see TBN NXT Gen star contributing to vital conversations at The International Conference on Injury and Illness Prevention in Sport earlier this month.

Joining a panel of leading experts and academics, Ellie brought an invaluable athlete perspective to discussions around mental health in sport—ensuring the lived experience of athletes remains at the heart of ongoing research and practice.

Moments like this highlight the importance of collaboration between athletes, practitioners, and researchers to create environments where wellbeing is prioritised just as highly as performance.
