Team Bath Judo

Another strong joint randori session at High Wycombe Judo Centre last night led by Luke Preston Camberley Judo Club. The next joint session is at Team Bath on Monday 29th June 8pm

Applications are now open for British Judo’s Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme for students studying in England in the 2026–2027 academic year.

The DiSE programme is a bespoke judo qualification designed for talented young athletes who want to combine high-level judo development with their academic studies.

Delivered across five Performance Pathway Centres in England, DiSE offers a recognised vocational qualification worth 64 UCAS points, supporting athletes who may wish to progress to university or pursue careers in sport and the wider industry.

Places are limited, with priority given to athletes on the England Talent Programme.

Huge congratulations to athlete Renz Vallerjera on taking home silver at the Philippine national championships recently! 👏🥈

Dominating the round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals, all won by ippon, he showed outstanding skill and determination on the mat.

A hard-fought final saw his pick-up attempt countered, resulting in an ippon for his opponent, but an amazing achievement nonetheless from one of our most dominant Judokas
