Round 6 of the BRCA Large Scale Off Road National Championship at Sussex RC Car Club racing my VRmodelsport Phoenix! 😎🏁

After missing out on 2 out of 3 rounds of qualifying yesterday due to a family wedding (congrats Mr and Mrs Hancock!) I knew I would be busy today hopefully bumping my way up through the finals.

After 1 round of qualifying, I started in P3 in the 15 minute C Final and finished this final in P1, which bumped me up into the B final, starting in P8. The 20 minute B final went well and I was able to finish this race in P2, which bumped me up to the A final starting in P9. The A final was going well and after 20 minutes I was able to work my way up to P4 ... until my wheel came off and that was my race over! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

It was a tough track today and only 4 drivers were able to finish the 30 minute final, well done to Romain Valter for taking the win! Thanks to all the volunteers who made this weekend possible, it was good fun!
