A new mast for our Lugger in the making. Many thanks to PSC Powerboat Instructor Sean whose skills turned a couple of planks into a beautiful wooden spar ready to varnish!

Do you want to learn to sail?
We have two places left on our RYA Start Sailing course this weekend (11th & 12th October) at Priory Sailing Club in Bedford.
The course covers the basics of rigging a boat, getting out on the water, sailing a triangular course and getting back into shore safely - everything required to be able to sail a boat independently, and leads to an RYA Level 1 qualification. The £150 cost includes all specialist equipment and the RYA books you need to get started.

Many congratulations to PSC members Emma and Dan who this week successfully completed their RYA Day Skipper course on the Solent. They join Ginny who completed her course two weeks ago.

Sailing skills learnt and developed at Priory, and with other PSC members at sea, and now they are in a position to book their own yacht charters!

Well done all.

New wheels on our Topper training fleet will make it easier for our young sailors to launch the boats and no more punctures to repair!

The wheels are neatly held in place by a tube insert, generously donated by Sinclair & Rush, a company that normally supplies large volume orders to industry. Such support is greatly appreciated - their Sales Manager sailed as a youngster!

Today a proud Priory Mum sent this me picture of her son racing as part of the Incisor Team in Cowes! It seems that skills learnt at Priory Sailing Club can be used on big boats too!
