⚽️ WHAT A BRILLIANT DAY AT WILLOW GROVE PRIMARY SCHOOL! ⚽️
On Wednesday, pupils enjoyed action-packed football coaching sessions delivered by a Real Bedford Wixams FC coach and they absolutely loved every minute! 🧡🖤

The children showed fantastic energy, enthusiasm and teamwork while developing their passing, dribbling, and ball mastery. Most importantly, everyone played with a smile and had lots of fun!

A huge well done to every child who took part, and a big thank you to Willow Grove Primary School for welcoming us and helping make the day such a success. 👏⚽️

All of the children were awarded a certificate for their amazing efforts and some were lucky enough to win some prizes as well.

I currently have just 1 place available in my Thursday Elite Group Coaching sessions for talented and committed players in school years 6-9.

⭐ This is the first time in over a year that a space has become available, making this a rare opportunity for a young player to join an established and high-performing group.

These sessions are designed for players who want to improve their confidence, decision-making, technical ability and overall performance.

Players receive:

✅ Individual-focused coaching
✅ 1v1 attacking and defending
✅ Ball mastery and game understanding
✅ Position-specific training
✅ Recorded sessions and performance analysis
✅ Strength, conditioning and home skills programmes
✅ Nutrition advice and personal target setting

Coaching is led by a UEFA A Licensed Coach with 25 years of experience, a Senior Lecturer in Sports, a former Manchester United FC International Coach, and an England Football Lead Coach Developer.

We had two fantastic sessions this evening, with goals galore and plenty of smiles. A huge well done to every single child who has attended over the past seven weeks — your effort, enthusiasm and attitude have been outstanding.

🌟 A special congratulations to Alex and Aston, who received the Overall Best Attitude Award for the whole term. A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved!

📅 Session information for September:

Children moving into Year 3 will attend the 5:00pm session.
Children moving into Year 7 will attend the 6:00pm session.
Everyone else will stay at the same time slots.

This Wednesday at 8pm, England take on their World Cup semi-final and it could be a night to remember!

It is a brilliant opportunity for our young players to watch, learn and dream big.

To every child watching: look out for the teamwork, courage, effort and determination on display. Great players are not made by talent alone they keep practising, support their teammates and never give up.

Great to see so many people attend this evening sessions in the heat, well done to all of you and the parents that attended.

I think they all loved getting cooled off by the different methods we had available. The ice buckets and hose worked a treat.

Hi everyone,
We will be running as normal tomorrow.

We have been monitoring the situation closely to see whether any government heat warnings would be put in place, as happened a couple of weeks ago, but nothing has been announced. Schools are also running as normal, so our session will go ahead.

Please ensure your child brings plenty of cold water and keep an extra cold drink for afterwards if possible. We also recommend sun cream and a hat where possible.

We will provide additional water breaks throughout the session to help keep the children hydrated, and we have planned a fun session that allows for short rest breaks in between activities.

Approximately halfway through the session, we will take the children to cool off with the hose before returning for matches. You will all be welcome as well lol.
