Face painting, kite design workshops, and bird box making are just some of what’s happening on the day, and plenty of time for some music and good community chats!

🎨 Calling all Young Artists 🎨

Come down to CS Lewis Square on Saturday 13th June for our free community fun day, and bring a drawing of what climate action means to you!

The winning picture will feature on our project for the next five years, and the winner takes home a £100 voucher for Love to Shop - over 50 brands to choose from including M&S, Argos, Currys, B&M, Primark plus lots more!

How to enter:

✔️ Drawing must relate to the theme: Climate Action
✔️ Original drawing or painting, A4 size maximum
✔️ One entry per child
✔️ Open to anyone under 18
✔️ On the back of your drawing, write: child’s name, age, guardian’s name, and guardian’s email
✔️Hand in entries at our table between 12pm and 1pm (entries only accepted in person on the day)
✔️ Winner announced at 2:30pm

Rita Fitzgerald joined us to hear about our lottery funded Climate Action project. Over the next 5 years we’ll be looking at our green spaces, food growing, events on the Greenway, and loads more.

Best bit? It’s going to be led by the people who live here so if you’ve got ideas about what you would like to see we’ll be all ears.

EastSide Learning Project Support Officer

EastSide Learning are recruiting for an exciting role to provide administrative support in relation to the RAISE programme in east Belfast. The role will focus on maintaining accurate records, supporting reporting processes, ensuring effective administrative systems and procedures are in place.

The post holder will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, including document management, data entry and monitoring, correspondence handling, and supporting internal processes.
