It’s Day 3 of our Schools Tennis Roadshow today and 150 children at East-the-Water Primary School have been practicing their best Ready Positions and Forehands… they’ve also been learning about the importance of eating bananas and how they provide you with a quick burst of energy!
We can’t wait to see as many of them as possible at our Free Tennis Party tomorrow at 4.15pm! If you’ve got a 5-8 year old who would enjoy 90 minutes of FREE TENNIS why not come along?

It's Day 1 of our School's Tennis Roadshow week and Tennis Tom was pulled out of 'schools tennis retirement' to visit St Helen's in Abbotsham, where 120 children aged 5-8 were given a free 30 minute taster session and a Tennis assembly complete with many props and costumes.
All 120 children were given a special invitation to attend our FREE TENNIS PARTY after school on Friday at 4.15pm. If you're aged 5-8 and want to play some free Tennis on Friday, why not come along!
Tom is currently recharging his batteries ahead of a visit to Westcroft School tomorrow!
🌞 What a week for ARC Summer Open 2026 🌞
We are still cooling down from an absolutely massive May half term week, and what a tournament it was.
Let's look at the numbers;
225 incredible players.
Over 500 thrilling matches played in the intense heat.
10 incredible young volunteers who stepped up and knocked it out of the park!
An enormous heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to our phenomenal staff and volunteers. We were on an incredibly tight deadline to get the space ready for our 80s opening evening and as always you all delivered! And a big thank you to for your donations of 80s decorations.
The dedication didn't stop there. A massive shout out to the staff and Team Purple (our amazing volunteers) who kept the bar open and drinks flowing. Even the staff donating some of their time for free. To do this during half term and other family commitments is nothing short of inspiring!
ARC has the BEST community. Thank you to everyone who played, cheered, worked and volunteered to make this Summer Open the best.
