Here at Celestial Arts, we aim to bring Pole Dance tuition of the highest quality to students, and in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere share the art of Pole Dance in a fun and safe setting, with a class available to suit everyone. Celestial Arts was founded by principal instructor Toni ‘Misty’ Mansell, with the aim to provide a fun, accessible and affordable setting for students to learn Pole Dancing, with the benefit of industry specialist knowledge and experience. Toni is a British Pole Dance Champion and has 10 years Pole Dance Experience, combined with 20 years Dance and Performance training and experience and Qualifications in Physical Education and Fitness (specialising in Dance). Celestial Arts stands for making Pole Dance available to everyone. No matter what size, shape, age, fitness level or experience level, there is a class suitable for everyone, and no-one will ever be discriminated against or made to feel unwelcome. We have a very friendly atmosphere in our classes, with all students supporting one another and having a fun and enjoyable experience. We have strong links to the Pole Dance industry and keep constantly up to date with current teaching methods, equipment and developments with the sport as a whole. We have close contacts with other Pole Dance Schools around the UK and Europe, and some of the Premier Pole Dance Experts, giving students the opportunity to benefit from Masterclasses, Competitions and Events at all levels, from Amateur to Expert. For Fun – We want all students to have a fantastic experience learning with us. Many people want to lose weight and improve their fitness, but are tired of the repetition and boredom of going to the gym. Pole Dance is unique in that it presents new challenges week after week, as soon as one move is achieved, there is always another to work towards! Combining these tricks, with dance elements to music, creates a fun, challenging and relaxed environment, that doesn’t even feel like you’re exercising! For Fitness – The physical benefits which Pole Dance provides are undisputed. Pole Dance improves posture and flexibility, cardio-vascular ability, creates weight-loss and increases overall fitness, well being and – most importantly – confidence. For Flight – One of the most exciting achievements in Pole Dance is the first time a student climbs the pole, another is flipping upside down for the first time. One of the most fun and exciting things about Pole Dance is the feeling of exhilaration when spinning, skimming the ceiling and hanging upside down defying gravity!
