My passion out of work is Surfing, any other water sports and being in the sea, water and spending time at the beach, I guess you could call me and most of my friends Mermaids. In November 2014 I had an accident with my surf board, my Fin went through my 6mm winter wetsuit and through my leg, just missing my artery, I was very lucky! I then went skiing and
tore my ACL on the same leg. Physio has been hard work, however determined to get back to work and activity I have and am continuing to persevere...
I knew the water and swimming would be my first step in exercise, I wanted something to look forward to and distract me from thinking of what I can't do. I finally brought my Dream Mermaid Tail, I was so excited waiting for it and was super stoked when it arrived! and everyone who sees me in it does too. It has really helped me, not only for getting stronger and fitter, however helped with self confidence, especially being off work and injured for some time and has helped motivate me and increase my self esteem, through being back in the water, which I love! The response I have been getting from everyone I meet has been amazing! "Thank you"

Asking questions on why I actually brought it, and some adults at my local hotel pool, trying out the fin and tail too. Guests staying at the hotel pool I use, taking pictures from their hotel rooms and waving to me. The response has been overwhelming inspiring, motivating and with a lot of research, and hard work driven me to setting up a Mermaid business. I am now very proud and very excited to share this with other Mermaids of all ages, what ever their motivation to be a real Life a Mermaid through joining our Pod at "Mayim Mermaid Academy"
We have various MERMAZING, experience s to suit all wishes and dreams, from Mermaid Parties, Supervised, structured lessons, fitness classes, private coaching, Hen parties or any other celebrations. All will have a photo shoot

Lesson includes: Pool hire, tuition, lifeguard cover, mermaid tail hire, certificate, group video to music and a couple of under water photos per person. Small group

It will be a Magical place to meet other mermaids, have lots of fun, showcase skills,train & learn new skills.
Once you apply you have access to all rules, regulations and videos of all the categories.
You can learn these skills whilst training at your Mermaid School.
If you win in your age group you get the chance to compete at the International Mermaiding Championships in 2027.
We would love to see more Mermaid’s and Mermen register from Mermaid schools across the UK & North Europe.

🐚More details of the categories will be shared with you all on here very soon as well as all information needed for the event.
🐚At some point we will have a zoom type meeting to answer any questions you have.
🐚Rules, Regulations and safety information will also be shared with you in due course.

🌏For Mermaids travelling for the Mermaiding Nationals, there are hotels very close by (Holiday Inn Express being the closest to the pool.
For Transport there is also a central National Express coach station and Railway Station.
If travelling from a North Europe country it is easily accessible from the airports vis National Express and train links.
I hope this helps everyone for this early application stage of the Mermaiding Nationals.

Mermaid Experiences, under water adventures and lessons for young Mermaids.
We have an ever expanding Adult Mer Pod and would like to invite more Mermaids & Mermen to join our Guppy Mermaid Pod.
We have 1:1 Mermaid lessons for Mermaids age 6-7.
The Mermaid Pod is for Age 8+
Who meet our swimming ability criteria (please see the website, link will be below)
These will be one or two monthly lessons to progress and learn lots of exciting Mermaid tricks and skills, make friends and gain Certification.
