This eBike owner had repaired a rear tyre puncture successfully, but hadn’t fitted the wheel back properly and had damaged a lock nut in the process using Mole Grips. Then the torque generated by his powerful rear motor had rotated the special dropout washer on the rear axle and had jammed tight on the threads. He called me for help. After advising the customer to buy a new washer and locknut specific to his eBike, on a Mobile (Call-Out) repair, I sorted out the problem just inside an hour and he was very relieved!
