Training as normal tonight - and gentle recalibration reminder of how to look at and plan your training.

Here's a great way to look at your overall training program and what you do with attending the weekly classes as well as additional practice throughout the week.

Using the “Minimum + Bonus” Rule
This prevents falling off track.

Minimum (must do):
- Attend the weekly class
- 1 practice session

Bonus (great if done):
- 2–3 practice sessions
- Conditioning
- Technique study

Even a 10 minute practice counts!
Consistency matters more than intensity.

If you miss something:

Miss one practice → do the next one.
Miss a class → schedule extra practice.

Never let two weeks pass without training!

An amazing milestone achievement both.

See you tonight.

Congratulations to three of our students for doing so well in the recent Spring Course Kata Competition and taking all three top spots. All regularly attending, hard working students.
What a great start to your karate journey. Your first Kata Competition can be an intimidating thing, performing your very best on your own with lots of eyes on you.

Beginner to Blue
1st - Mikhail Orlov
2nd - Vladimir Poroshin
3rd - Ivan Del Barco Barrantes

Every Sunday do a 5 minute review of your training week.

Ask yourself:

- Did I attend class?
- How many practice sessions did I do ?
- What did I improve?
- What needs work?
- Write one focus for next week.

REMINDER

We have training as normal tonight but in the small hall.

There is a school event on so you will need to park offsite.
Please allow extra time for this.
