Yesterday I gave a presentation on helping business owners thrive without the burnout.

I've been a member of the fabulous now for about 5 years, such a lush group of women! Great to see so many faces!

I always start my talks with a bit about me, not the business side. Why? because before everything I'm Helen.

It also builds trust!

I've been personally reflecting on this recently and it's got me to think about a few things that need to change.

It's been a theme over in this month.

A real chance to step back and look at what is missing or not.

Look at what %'age of your business is bringing you fun and enjoyment.

What needs to shift?

I see you.
Running around.
Wasting energy on things that aren't what lights you up.
Doing things that feel efficient but in reality, make you drained.
You're at that point that you literally don't know where to go next.
You've tried it all.
You've realised something needs to shift.
You don't know what.

As a projector in Human Design, I see what you can't. It's my superpower if you like.
I'm blo*dy good at it too!

10 years ago, I had NO idea why having a mentor, coach, support is actually critical to success.

Yes, you can do things on your own, you can listen to your own advice (super important), who do you have though in your corner?

When you're feeling like you want to give it all up who do you turn to? Your mates are great, they probs won't get it though!

I'd advise having at least two, one who is in your space and one who is 100% not!

They give direction, they listen, they ask the right questions, they make you accountable!

You're sat there, thinking what shall I do next?

What's going to bring in new clients, what shall I do first, write the email, create a post, go to that networking event, yada yada yada.

All of this is normally necessary, have you got any real direction with it though?

Are you doing this for the sake of it?
If you're putting something off then it's normally for a good reason, something is off.

When you're in the space of growth, you need to get your own alignment right before anything.

Yes, take the advice, get the mentor, these will be the best ting you'll do.

Then remember who you are, what lights you up, what gives you the right feeling of fulfilment and joy.
