Meet Marley, the horse behind Chloe Marsh! 🐴
“My favourite thing about him is his character, without a doubt!”
Chloe bought Marley (15.3hh British Sports Horse) directly from his breeder at just 10 months old. Now 11, he’s lived on Chloe’s farm all his life.
Favourite memory? Qualifying for Badminton at their final event of the season, finishing double clear across country and taking 1st place while Chloe was pregnant with her little girl.
“My best friend came up to me and said, “You know you’re in first place!” I cried.”
Another highlight was competing in the Game Fair side saddle display. With just a few weeks to get used to side saddle, Marley was an absolute superstar in the huge atmosphere at just 8 years old.
Current goal? Get him back out eventing next year, alongside the Side Saddle Nationals and another Game Fair display. “Eventing was a total accident for us, I actually bought him as a foal to continue my side saddle riding.”
And her favourite thing about him? His personality, “He’s the class clown, always doing something goofy in the stable.”
