The dragon is awake 🐉 and our bowlers are ready.

In just 100 days, Team Wales heads to Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games 2026. Wales has competed at every Games since 1930, and that proud tradition continues this summer.

We can't wait to cheer on our athletes as they carry the red dragon to Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁸󠁿🎯

🎉 100 years of Crown Green Bowling in Wales!

This year marks the centenary of the Welsh Crown Green Bowling Association and what a century it's been. From newspaper clippings dating back to the 1920s, to champions crowned in 2025, the WCGBA has been at the heart of Welsh bowls for generations.

We love seeing this incredible display celebrating 100 years of players, clubs, and communities across Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁮/🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

And the celebrations continue, mark your calendars for a special centenary tournament on Sunday 31st May 2026. More details to follow from the WCGBA!

Congratulations to Anwen Butten, who received her MBE yesterday at Windsor Castle from HRH The Prince of Wales. A well-deserved honour recognising her outstanding contribution to lawn bowls, cancer care, and her wider work in communities across Wales.

Llongyfarchiadau mawr i Anwen Butten, a dderbyniodd ei MBE ddoe yng Nghastell Windsor gan Tywysog Cymru. Anrhydedd haeddiannol sy’n cydnabod ei chyfraniad eithriadol i fowlio lawnt, gofal canser, a’i gwaith ehangach yn y cymunedau ledled Cymru.
