WKKU Wado-Kai Karate Union

A handful of our lower-grade competitors participated in the JKS WALES kyu grade competition today. We earned a few medals, which is great to see! It’s important to remember that we’re still in the development phase with these younger fighters, so let’s continue being patient and supportive. Congratulations to everyone who took part!

Date for our 2026 Grassroots Comp has been approved 🥳 Again this year, our event is for WKKU members only, to provide valuable mat time in a safe and familiar environment

This year we hope to run kumite categories for ‘lower-grades’ in addition to the ‘all-grade’ categories of last year’s events

Entry fee £6 (Usual fees at comps we enter in Wales are £15)
