Meet Dan - one of our 3 club managers. Along with Noel and Vince, they make new members feel totally at home and ensure everyone gets all they can from our Flyers' sessions - whether playing pickleball, football, netball or boccia. Why not come along - to watch or join in - any Saturday morning 10am - 12pm at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre.

Thank you Thriftwood College for hosting Sammy today to explain why he (and 3 current Thriftwood College students) LOVE coming to Dovedale Flyers every Saturday morning at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre (and for the game of Dobble with his former teachers!)

If any Flyers haven't yet completed a GDPR permission form (you'd remember if you had!) please DM me and I'll send you the link. This is very quick and we now need it to maintain membership records (and keep track of birthdays ;-))

Just a reminder that this Sat 25 July will be the last Flyers session before our August break. We will present some awards and enjoy a picnic afterward - so don't miss it! But do bring your favourite snacks / something to share! We'll be back from Sat 5th Sept 🙂

These champs braved the heat yesterday for another great Flyers session AND helped us review progress in the last year. In summary, Flyers membership has increased 50% and funds by 100%; pickleball and other sports have been added ... and the Blues beat the Greens 8-7 yesterday with the last shot of the game!

For members, the 2026 "Flyer of the Year" (and "Best New Flyer") will be announced just before the Aug break, on Sat 25th July - when we'll also have a picnic!

And to all our our supporters, thanks 1m - in particular to the William Brake Foundation, to Sport England, to Essex Community Foundation, and to Stewardship - for helping us to help these great people!
