Congratulations to all our Flyers for another great year - and to 2026 Flyer of the Year Aaron Sailsman, Newcomer of the Year Aaron Morton and Achievement Award winner Sammy MacSween! See you all again on 5 Sept for a new season of sport and friendship :-)
If any Flyers haven't yet completed a GDPR permission form (you'd remember if you had!) please DM me and I'll send you the link. This is very quick and we now need it to maintain membership records (and keep track of birthdays ;-))

Just a reminder that this Sat 25 July will be the last Flyers session before our August break. We will present some awards and enjoy a picnic afterward - so don't miss it! But do bring your favourite snacks / something to share! We'll be back from Sat 5th Sept 🙂

These champs braved the heat yesterday for another great Flyers session AND helped us review progress in the last year. In summary, Flyers membership has increased 50% and funds by 100%; pickleball and other sports have been added ... and the Blues beat the Greens 8-7 yesterday with the last shot of the game!
For members, the 2026 "Flyer of the Year" (and "Best New Flyer") will be announced just before the Aug break, on Sat 25th July - when we'll also have a picnic!
And to all our our supporters, thanks 1m - in particular to the William Brake Foundation, to Sport England, to Essex Community Foundation, and to Stewardship - for helping us to help these great people!

One of the things we most enjoy is welcoming new members! And Kieran has been a GREAT addition since his first visit - and was awarded his Flyers top today, to become a fully fledged member :-)
