Easter26 is complete💥

What a two weeks we all had! We broke our attendance record THREE times at Forgewood — hitting 80 children in a day 🤯 and selling out Maidenbower for the first time 🙌

More than anything, we’ve met so many new amazing children and parents who now all feel part of the WHC family ❤️

Easily my favourite half term since we started in 2023… but Summer26 is going to be on another level 🛝💦

I always say it, and I truly mean it.. I absolutely LOVE what we do, I’m so passionate about bringing FUN energy, inspiring kids, and making every day memorable at our holiday club! Easter ’26 – Day 8 🎉 FUN Friday @ Forgewood

We kicked off explaining the treat table 🍬 each adult picked out some children to take home some spare treats that we had left over at the end of the day 😄

Then it was FULL ENERGY 💃🕺
Cha Cha Slide, Freeze Dance & more before taking it outside for a warm up all about speed & teamwork.🏃‍♂️💨

After snack, the children took over and chose their activities — arts & crafts 🎨 AND forest school / field games 🌿, switching so everyone got a go!

Domino’s for lunch 🍕… the quietest part of the day 😂

Then the afternoon involved..
🏰 Bouncy castle madness
🏐 Dodgeball battles
🔫 Nerf war chaos
🎮 Extra free time fun

Easter 2026 – Day 7 at Forgewood 🌸

What a fantastic Thursday we’ve had! We kicked things off with some brand new warm-up games on the screen – the kids absolutely loved them – before heading outside for even more action. And guess what… no noodle tag today 😱🤣

After a well-earned snack break, we split into two teams for some high-energy dodgeball, while the other group enjoyed Forest School and field play – then swapped over so everyone got a turn!

Following lunch and some free time to recharge, it was back into the fun. The group split into three teams and rotated through Nerf wars 🔫, Nerf target practice 🎯, and football on the field ⚽ – plenty of excitement all round!

A big shoutout to our colour competition winners, Amelia & Bobby, who showed extra care and creativity… especially with a chocolate prize up for grabs today! 🍫👏

We’re all set for FUN Friday tomorrow – it’s going to be a good one! 🍕🏰

Easter 2026 – Day 6 | Forgewood ☀️🐣

Another beautiful sunny day at Forgewood! Although… not everyone was a fan of the sunshine 🤣

We made the most of the weather by taking our warm-up games outside, where the children enjoyed a mix of tag and reaction games to get everyone moving and smiling.

After snack time, we split into two teams for some exciting basketball and dodgeball, with players rotating to keep things fresh and fun.

Free time on the field and playground was full of energy—so much so that everyone came back in very sweaty! 💦 Plenty of fun was clearly had.

To top off the day, we held our final Easter egg hunt of the half term. With the sun shining bright, we swapped real eggs for plastic ones—but that didn’t stop the excitement! All 52 children went home with an Easter egg 💪🏼🐣

Easter ‘26 – Day 5 | Forgewood

We’re back—and what a day to return! The weather was absolutely unbelievable, making it perfect for a full day of outdoor fun ☀️

We kicked things off with some brand-new warm-ups on the screen before heading outside to try a few fresh tag and reaction games. Of course, we couldn’t resist finishing with a classic round of noodle tag—always a favourite!

After snack time, the group split in two for some exciting activities. One group explored Forest School, where the tadpoles were definitely the stars of the show 🐸, while the other group jumped into “Wipeout” (our high-energy dodgeball game). Then it was time to swap!

Free play on the field was a highlight—football and cricket matches in full swing, kids enjoying the playground and trim trail, and even some impressive gymnastics routines from the girls.

Arts and crafts afternoon is always a big hit 🎨

A big well done to Grace & Jacob, who took home the win in today’s colour competition! 🎉

☀️Easter26 day 4 Maidenbower☀️

We kicked things off with a super fun and energetic interactive warm-up with Joe Wicks 🏃‍♂️💪, getting everyone moving and ready for the day ahead!

Next, we headed outside for some free play and bug hunting 🐞🔍—which was a big hit with our little explorers! After all that excitement, we came back inside for a well-earned snack 🍎

After snack, we got creative with Easter arts and crafts 🐣🎨, followed by a dance party 💃🕺… which ended up lasting a bit longer than planned because everyone was having SUCH a great time!
We then enjoyed lunch 🥪 before jumping into a fun game of dodgeball 🤾

We even had a visit from the lady in the office & her doggie 🐶

Afterwards, it was more free time outside, and lots of children were eager to get straight back to bug hunting 🐛🌿

Later, we came inside for our awards 🎖️🏆 and colouring competition results 🖍️

For those staying later, we had time on the climbing frame 🧗‍♂️ and some relaxing movie watching 🎬🍿 to finish off the day.

Such a lovely day had by all—well done everyone! 😊🎉

Easter 2026 – Day 4 at Forgewood ☀️

What a day! The sun was shining, and we made the most of it—spending almost the entire day outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather.

It was another action-packed day at Forgewood, kicking off with a fun-filled warm-up both inside and out on the field. The energy was high from the start with even ladies being noodle taggers!

After working up an appetite, we headed inside for a well-earned snack before jumping straight back into activities. Archery, basketball, and—of course—more dodgeball kept everyone moving, with groups rotating and getting stuck into everything.

We then enjoyed some extended free time before finishing the day in style with exciting Nerf wars out on the playground—always a favourite!

To top it all off, every child went home with some homemade Easter chocolates 🍫

A big congratulations to Roman, who won the colouring competition—fantastic effort!

And a special shoutout to Ethan and Mokshi, our prize winners for today after having absolutely brilliant days. Very well deserved—well done lads! 👏

Easter 26 day 3 Maidenbower.

Today at holiday club we kicked things off with a fun and interactive warm-up on the board 🧠✨, getting everyone engaged and ready for the day ahead.

We then headed outside for some free play, where the children enjoyed tennis 🎾, basketball 🏀, and time on the trim trail 🌳.

After working up an appetite, we came back inside for an exciting game of dodgeball 🤾 before sitting down for snack 🍎.

Once refuelled, the fun continued with Nerf wars 🔫 and target challenges 🎯, which were a big hit with everyone, before it was time for lunch 🥪.

In the afternoon, we made the most of more free time outdoors, with tennis 🎾, basketball 🏀, and a big football match ⚽ bringing lots of energy and teamwork. This was followed by our much-anticipated Easter egg hunt 🐣🍫, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed!

To wind down, we headed inside for some arts and crafts 🎨 before getting ready to head home 🏡.

Joshua earned the trophy 🏆 for consistently showing respect and kindness throughout the day, especially for using our 7 special words 💬

Julian received the medal 🥇 for showing fantastic effort, joining in with all activities, and overcoming his initial nerves to truly excel 🌟

Well done to everyone for another fantastic day at holiday club! 🎉

Easter26 @ Forgewood 🐣🌸

What a day… ANOTHER RECORD BREAKER! 🎉
We had an amazing 79 children join us for a full day of fun, laughter, and Easter excitement!

We kicked things off indoors with some hilarious “Would You Rather?” questions before heading out to the field to burn off some energy with games. 🏃‍♂️

Next, we split into three groups and rotated through a variety of activities—keeping everyone active, creative, and smiling all day long.

After lunch and some well-earned free time, it was time for the highlight of the day… THE EASTER EGG HUNT! 🥚🍫
All 79 children went home with an Easter egg (although I’m pretty sure most didn’t make it past the school gates without opening them! 😂)

🌟 Easter26 day 2 Maidenbower 🌟

We started the morning with an interactive warm-up on the board 🧠✏️ to get everyone thinking and ready for the day.

After that, the children enjoyed some outdoor free time 🌳☀️, making the most of the fresh air and space to play.

We then had lunch 🍽️ before getting stuck into some exciting dodgeball tournaments 🏐—lots of energy, teamwork, and fun!
In the afternoon, we headed back outside for more games and activities, including using the apparatus and ropes 🧗‍♂️.

To finish the day, the children relaxed with some bracelet making 🎨💫, especially enjoyed by those staying for later pick-up.

Another fun-filled and active day! 😊

Easter ‘26 – Day 2 @ Forgewood 🌿

What a day! We welcomed a record-breaking 75 children through the doors—honestly, we’re so grateful to everyone who attended. 🙌

We kicked things off indoors with our warm-up games before heading outside (pretty quickly!) for high-energy rounds of noodle tag and bulldog 🏃‍♂️

After snack, the group split into three and rotated through forest school adventures, dodgeball, and football—non-stop action all morning ⚽🌲

Post-lunch brought some well-earned free time, with children making the most of the field, trim trail, table tennis, and playground.

This afternoon was filled with Easter arts & crafts. Jewellery making, cream eggs holder decorating, card making & more.

Another incredible day at Forgewood. We’re absolutely LOVING it… and already counting down to doing it all again tomorrow ❤️
