We weren't meant to process the weight of global crisis alone.
This week we explore how to create collective 'cauldrons' for shared healing - from autumn vegetable harvesting with friends to building co-regulation networks that catch each other's Silver Bullet patterns.
Your community is your container.
Who's gathering around your fire?

What happens when you realize you're living in Omelas, but there's nowhere to walk away to? In this deeply personal essay, I explore how the GTDF course 'Sensing Harm By Design' led me to confront my complicity in systems of violence—and how literary visions from Ursula K. Le Guin and N.K. Jemisin might help us imagine transformation.

Celebrating 100 years of this beautiful lady - my Grandma Yudit (Dita) Shani. Today is her Birthday. Very sad not to be able to be with her in person, but FaceTime is a wonderful thing when family is scattered across the planet. Warm and loving and a fantastic cook, my Grandma, or Savta in Hebrew, has been a constant in my life. She has lived through many ups and downs, but still smiles, still speaks in multiple languages and still plays a mean round of combinations. It’s very hard to beat her! Praying to be with you soon Savta. We love you ❤️

It’s a huge privilege and a dream come true to be properly launching the debut music video of the One World Orchestra, Songs From Home project. For a long time I have wanted to gather a group of exceptional musicians from across the world to explore deeper into the power of music as a force for healing People, Places and Planet. And here they are! This project exceeded all my expectations and the people even more so. There was so much heart in the room all the week and a spirit of genuine collaboration. Although the project itself lasted 5 days, we were only together as a whole group for 2 of those days. This video is a snippet from our live performance, beautifully mixed by and filmed by .
The biggest thanks to my co-conspirators in this project .pinchen and .balaam, my amazing sister .starr.315 who looked after us as company manager, as well as the amazing team of artists who answered the call: .silbak .pacific Sara Khoroosi, Fergus Paton and Orli.

Five days in Andalusia with my wonderful cousin and I’m coming away with a profound appreciation for the importance of landscape to our sense of place as humans in the universe. Landscape as source of sustenance, cradle of community and shaper of culture. Landscape that connects to family, history and tradition. But also landscape for its own sake, home to the greater family of beings we share this planet with - birds, animals, insects, trees, rocks and rivers. I am struck by the preciousness of all and the profound damage being done to the fabric of landscape by our relentless obsession with modernity and blindness to the intrinsic life and value within all things. Karmit and I parted at dawn with a question posed as the bus pulled up to take me back home - how do we reconcile the needs of modernity with the needs of our living planet? I will be sitting with this question for a long time. Thank you , for the gift of your connection, fun and love. Missing you already ❤️

are hosting Beyond The Obvious, 2023's "Handle with Care - Culture for Social Well-being" gathering in Elefsina, Greece.
This year will focus on politics, ethics and aesthetics of care, care for the planet and communities, care for each other. They will specifically discuss the evidence on the role of culture in improving health and well-being and will ask how can culture and participation in the cultural life of communities nourish the sense of social and individual well-being.
I am honoured to be on a panel alongside dancer and researcher Jill K. Sonke called "Different takes on care: take two”.
Our talk aims at focusing on how we as cultural workers can facilitate the creation of more caring societies, how arts and culture can heal and at the same time provoke critical and sometimes uncomfortable thinking?
On Tuesday, 16 May 13:00-14:00 (CEST).
Places are limited, so if you are interested in booking a place or just want to learn more then check out the link in the bio! ☝
