A fun friendly class no ego ,fitness and martial skills
Nice Phraya Pichai Thai Boxing session tonight , instructor Andy taking them through their paces .
🥊 We are a Self Defence orientated Gym, however we have other martial arts that have great fitness and striking capabilities, hence we have Thai boxing and Western Boxing for Striking , Combatives Krav Maga for self defence , Wing chun for close quarter combat and No Gi BJJ coming soon for groundwork ! 🌞 Hot Weather = Smart Training 🔥
As the temps rise, so should your awareness around training safely in the heat! Here's how to stay strong and safe this summer:
💧 Hydrate like it’s your job – You lose more water (and electrolytes!) through sweat, so sip throughout the day, not just during your session.
🌤 Train early or late – Avoid peak heat between 11–4. Early morning or evening sessions help your body perform better.
👕 Dress light – Moisture-wicking, breathable gear is your best friend. Ditch the heavy cotton.
🧠 Listen to your body – Dizzy? Nauseous? Extra fatigued? That’s your cue to slow down or stop. No gains are worth heat exhaustion.
🏋️♂️ Modify your workout – Lower intensity, longer rest periods, or moving it indoors is not weakness—it’s smart strategy.
🔥 Working hard is great. Overheating? Not so much. Train smart, stay cool, and crush your goals safely.
